Our Contribution
The Advantech supported Enbridge Gas Distribution (EGD) in enhancing asset lifecycle management and financial reporting through the implementation of the Universal Asset Health Review (UAHR) system. Our contributions included
- Data Architecture & Modeling:Designed dimensional and physical data models for asset monitoring and performance analysis. Developed SAP Business Objects Universe Design documentation to enable intuitive, self-service reporting.
- OLAP & ETL Framework:Defined OLAP requirements and optimized ETL processes for accurate, timely data transformation. Authored and validated test cases for ETL job batches to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Architectural & Technical Leadership:Proposed strategies incorporating SAP BW, SAP BOBJ, and Materialized Views. Worked with DBAs to set up environments for scalable deployment, aligned with licensing and performance goals.
