Our Contribution

Our team was responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of the core Chex.ai mobile application and its supporting AI infrastructure. Key points of our development included:

  • Cross-Platform Mobile App Development: Engineered a high-performance, cross-platform mobile application using React Native, providing a seamless and consistent user experience on both iOS and Android devices.
  • Proprietary AI Damage Detection Engine: Developed and trained custom computer vision and deep learning models to accurately identify vehicle parts, classify damage types, and estimate repair severity from mobile phone imagery.
  • Cloud-Backed AI Processing: Built a scalable backend system on AWS to handle intense image processing workloads. This ensures the AI analysis is fast and reliable, while securely storing inspection history and user data.
  • Automated Digital Reporting: Created a dynamic report generation feature that compiles AI findings, photos, and assessment notes into a professional, instantly shareable digital report, eliminating manual paperwork for users.
